Ready for a recipe that will guac your world? The tried and true dip for backyard parties and taco nights, guacamole is as simple as it is delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • ½ small yellow onion, finely diced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 3 tbsp fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Pico de Gallo

Although pico de gallo shares the same ingredients as your classic red fresh salsa, it calls for raw, diced produce for extra freshness and texture.

Ingredients:

  • 6 ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup white onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium jalapeno, seeded and minced
  • ½ cup lime juice
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • ¾ teaspoon salt, to taste

In a medium serving bowl, combine chopped onion, jalapeno, lime juice, and salt. Let it marinate for five minutes while you chop the tomatoes and cilantro. Stir all ingredients together and serve!
