Ordering Guidelines
Ordering:
Orders can be placed 24 Hours a day 7 days a week for next day delivery. (Excluding Sundays. We have no Sunday delivery service)
You may add on to you delivery until the truck leaves our dock. A customer service representative can notify you as to the status of your delivery.
2nd run or same day delivery to customers is available. Calls for this service must be called in by 11am. Please note that the delivery schedule for 2nd runs or same day service varies on a daily basis.
On Saturdays you can place orders for the following Monday with a person until 2:00 PM, after 2:00 PM our voicemail activates. Orders can be left on the voicemail for Monday delivery.
When leaving a voicemail please be sure to clearly and slowly state your name, the account you are calling from, account number if available, and the phone number. When leaving your order please be specific tell us the product and quantity of said item. Please help us with as much information as you can, so we may process your correct product. Please be very specific.
Fresh Cuts Ordering:
All fresh cut orders for delivery the following day must be placed no later than 1pm.
Deliveries:
V. Marchese delivers 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday. Our team of professional drivers strive to make on-time deliveries. To help us achieve this goal, please arrange a delivery window with a customer service representative when placing your order, or contact your salesperson prior to placing your order. We ask if you need a timed delivery that a 2 Hr window be given. When arranging your delivery also inform the customer service rep. or your salesperson of any issues our driver may need to be aware of (i.e. building security, loading dock information, specific delivery entrances, etc). If you become a key drop know that all keys are kept locked at our warehouse.
Receiving your Delivery:
When receiving product we ask that you take special care in regards to the packaging. While it is understood that you often have to see the product before deciding whether you are going to accept or reject it, we request that you not tear or cut open boxes or bags and also that you not discard of the original packaging until you are sure you will be using the product.
Holidays:
V. Marchese is closed six days a year, in observance of all the major holidays: Christmas, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. You can expect us to be delivering on all other holidays. Please call a customer service representative or check with your salesperson for any changes to these holiday closings.
Returns:
We encourage customers to inspect product upon delivery. In the event that you reject any products, doing so with our driver at the time of delivery is best. Our drivers are able to issue an credit memo on the spot the day of delivery. If you would like to return product after receiving, V. Marchese has a 24 hour return policy as mandated by our HACCP Plan. Please contact a customer service representative or your salesperson and have your invoice number when making the request for pick up. All returns must be sent back in their original shipping package in re-sellable form, otherwise credit will not be issued.
Account Statements:
Please notify a customer service representative or your salesperson, how you would like to receive your statement. By mail or e-mail on a monthly basis. Please adhere to your agreed upon terms. |
